1) participants will understand the risk factors and protective factors around suicide and the recent statistics around older adult suicide.

2) participants will understand best practices in assessment and screening and how to refer and request assistance in high-risk situations

3) participants will understand dialectical behavioral therapy coping skill education and emotional regulation techniques to help the escalate situations with clients of all ages.
