Family Support Manager needed for full-time, temp to hire position in Chester County. 

Family Support Manager provides case management, support and expertise through comprehensive assessment, planning, implementation/referral and overall evaluation of individual family needs. All other duties are as assigned. Represent setting at meetings and events when requested.

The Family Support Manager must relate well to people from diverse backgrounds and be sensitive to the issues related to family homelessness. In addition, the Family Support Manager must demonstrate a commitment to protecting family confidentiality. Strong problem-solving skills. Ability to develop rapport and create a comfortable, trusting relationship with all members of the families. Good planning and organization skills with ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks.  Effective time management skills with ability to be flexible. Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively with a wide range of people. Proven counseling skills. Ability to work effectively with people in a social service environment.  Commitment to the highest standards of ethical conduct and confidentiality.

BSW and Three (3) years of experience working with clients. One (1) year of experience working with those experiencing homelessness or other non-profit organization is preferred. Knowledge of local government and social service programs.  Oral and written proficiency in English and Spanish is required. The Family Support Manager should be enthusiastic and passionate about helping families experiencing homelessness. The Family Support Manager must have a driving record that shows no DUIs, and no accidents or moving violations in the past three (3) years.

The Family Support Manager is expected to work a minimum 40-hour week. After-hours and on weekends, the Family Support Manager will be on call as scheduled.
